GOA Movie review

Slap stick comedy - very disfunctional story line - but would be able to enjoy every bit of it - if you are chennai bred animal this movie will be great entertainer

Mostly out of logic and kudos to director to have given a movie with out a storyline but yet interesting

The movie marks a new genre to Tamil movie goes - sneek peep to Gay lifestyle though it can border on being on the wrong side of gay rights activist

Bold producer to have trusted on the director brand to have agreed to sponsor a movie without a story line and obviously screen play could not have been written

The comedy scenes "Room pootu yosichiruganga " , Jay and Premji anchor the movie mostly premji , Vaibhav role could have or not existed.

Camera work is superb and also special credit to sampath , he has proved his versatileness in this movie - he is better than boman irani from "Dostana"

Pia Bhajpai looks hot in the movie - babe has to loose some more weight to carry on most of the dressing and Sneha has no role

All in all the movie is a great attitude to ride on Chennai 28 and Saroja fame and I think it will be a hit - it has to be lucky

Venkat prabhu has to give a different movie next time - it is getting too predictable and also I personally think Premji has huge talent and his story line is superd in the movie

Overall for a Chennai person a must watch - you will surely laugh 10 -15 times in the movie

New hang out - actually not

Our home is now blessed with a new coffee shop around 3 mins from our flat - it is called 36 Degrees minus .. when Nustar foods (the only near by grocery shop for 150 odd flat inmates I was annoyed - as a bachelor all my MTR foods and quick sodas for a quick drink came in from there ...

After a lot of speculation that some multinational IT company wants to set shop in a 1500 sqft area - finally we had the launch of this cafe .

You cannot call it a Coffee shop but a eating join - great interiors and ambience is great might be mixture of lot of family here would never give the feeling of a coffee shop .
you will be very comfortable when you see the menu - prices are nice and dont be skeptical be comfortable in ordering sandwiches , in fact they have almost nailed the bazee sandwich - good job guys

Their menu will resemble a juice shop in the middleeast and they are famous for their whipped creams in different flavor - the king is the custard apple - this is the most phenomenol dish I have tasted - what a job

The place gets boring for more than a hour, since it is a more serious kind of eating joint the nocturnals or the coffee drinkers do not patronize it .

With pale green interiors it is a great place for a visit - do not over do - once in a month can be a good option

Sick Weekend and our famous habitat

This weekend has been total family sickness - on friday - i fell sick and on saturday my better half did - so far we are both battling cold and Migrane - I feel cold is better to manage.

This week we have to talk about the most famous place in our life - Besant Nagar coffee day - I spent almost two hours there reading book by Vietnamese monk - on Prayers - the following adjectives will describe the place -

Front face : very quiet and nice - you can be here and gaze the road - for a general time pass

Mid portion : this is the labyrinth of noise for all the youngsters - you must get the lounge there are two of them - not very cozy but still nice - airconditioning is good - great place to visit if it is raining - with the glass door view to the road - and rains hitting the tar the place with its coffee smell transports you to a different destination - do try it once .. worthwhile timepass - with two great appeals to two of your most important senses - view and smell ....

Back side : Very quiet - nice to be in - prefer it in the evenings - great place for some one to sit down and pen some thoughts on different things - sometime you might smell a roasting of potato from a " Iyer family" nearby but nevertheless and great place to be ....

Thing to try : most of their managers are pretty well trained and their service is far superior to any CCD I have been to ....

Cappucino and Filter coffee
Frappe
Columbian Coffee
and if you go there in the morning some muffins ... coffee day chennai apple pie is normally kickass ... good stuff to have ...

Not to try
any blue colored drink - they always some how screw it up ....

Great place to visit to see a lot of people if u like to see different walks of people ...

Famous food joints in Chennai - Good Food

We happened to be at Trident the other day, for those who love unique food in a buffet this would be a great option.
Unlike many 5 Star properties the staff are really cordial and lay out of the place is kind of primitive but good ambience - 3 / 5 for the set up .
Once you start ordering - the Alacarte menu is not exaustive but definetly cheaper than the sheratons
Choose the buffet it will be great - the have custom made to order thin crust pizzas and pastas - we must say it was divine - try the margerita pizza - still takes us back to Zupparties in long Island (Oldest Italian Joint in Lisle)
The Indian Vegetarian dishes are great and displayed in nice little quanties - try the paneer they make is awesome
We would say the roties are average but the other accompaniments take care of the quality of roti
Follow this with Chinese Menu on the other side with some Noodles - well done we must say with right amount of spices and mouthwatering stir fried vegetables - we were veggiies that day cannot comment on the Non veg side - but that cant be bad
End the meal with some brillant curd - served in a clay pot with some steaming basmati and Mango pickle - all authentic - We have never tasted a buffet so choicefully done

Desserts : Icecreams are a average but try the Black currant Cheese cake ..

The entire experience was Meditating with Food .
